I was chatting with Kanye – or West, as I usually call him – and the conversation took a really unexpected turn. He started talking about some nude photos that had been sent around, and everyone around us was reacting, asking if they were… well, if they were harsh or gentle. Apparently, Jesse Solomon then showed West the actual image that had been circulating. Honestly, it was a bit of a reunion moment – everyone was clearly referencing a shared history and inside joke!
Andy confirmed that West, 31, found out about the leaked nude photos right before they started filming the Summer House season 10 reunion. He explained that the topic hadn’t come up yet during filming, but would be addressed later in the reunion special, with parts two and three revealing how it unfolds.
Andy expressed sympathy for the difficult time West was having. He said it was an incredibly awful day, made worse by the leak of private photos and then learning about the death of his grandmother. To add to the tragedy, West’s cousin, Dakota Sweeney, had been arrested and charged with murder in connection with his grandmother, Gayle R. Wilson’s, death. Sweeney has denied the charges.
During the radio show, Andy was surprised by how relaxed West and Amanda Batula seemed before filming began, knowing their relationship would likely be scrutinized. Amanda Batula, 34, is currently separated from Kyle Cooke and is good friends with Ciara Miller. West previously dated Ciara.
Andy said Ciara was incredibly enthusiastic about the reunion. He described her as poised, confident, beautiful, and strong – everything she’d hoped to be. She gave it her all and didn’t hold anything back. Andy also felt like he had to manage the conversation, ensuring everyone had a chance to speak.
Viewers witnessed West’s initial reaction to the leak of his nude photos during the reunion episode, which Bravo broadcasted on Tuesday, May 26th.
As soon as Amanda sat down, she asked how he was doing, but he was already looking at his phone. He told her, “I just found out someone hacked my phone and is sending around nude photos of me. Not exactly the news you want to hear right before this.”
“We already heard about it this morning,” Carl Radke told him.
Amanda jokingly said she hadn’t received any either. Then, Jesse, age 33, joined the conversation and revealed he’d also been sent the leaked nude photos of West.
West wondered if he looked stern in the pictures, and Carl and Jesse both chuckled. “Definitely not,” Carl responded, “very gentle.”
Amanda then leaned over his shoulder and looked at the photo, which West confirmed was him.
“It curves left,” Jesse pointed out.
