I anticipated a blend of feelings before, during, and after, and now I understand what my parents went through two years ago.
Jason, who recently retired from the NFL after playing for 13 seasons with the Eagles, expressed his immense pride in his former teammates and coaches, such as Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni. He admired how they’ve battled through adversity, silenced their critics, and proven themselves to be the best team this season. “They embody the resilience and determination that defines Philadelphia, and I couldn’t be more proud,” he commented. Well done, guys, well and truly done!
Jason showed great excitement for Philadelphia, but made it clear that there’s no one he loves or cares for more than his brother.

He acknowledged that they are currently dwelling on last night’s game and its flaws, but those feelings will eventually subside. What remains is the extraordinary talent they have demonstrated as a unit, which will be remembered as one of the most powerful football epochs in history.
On Wednesday, Jason commended the Eagles, stating they delivered an “exceptionally remarkable” performance, and Travis concurred. Subsequently, he expressed gratitude towards his close-knit group for their unwavering encouragement, acknowledging their support even amidst the disheartening outcome.
Travis expressed his feelings by saying, “I adore my teammates, I admire my coaches,” he stated. “Chiefs Kingdom, I regret the way things concluded. … My life is truly blessed, friend. I have dear loved ones, a world-class family that stands behind me in every endeavor and they were all there rooting for me on Sunday, friend. I simply need to take off my hat to the Eagles, they were operating at peak performance from the start and it seemed like we couldn’t get a grip on the game. … This loss is going to hurt.
