According to the hotel’s website, Rockwell described the project as a strong collaboration. Robert De Niro wanted the hotel to feel like a natural part of the TriBeCa neighborhood, so they began exploring different brick designs. Ira championed the idea of using masonry to create a distinctive look and led the effort to make it happen.

Robert De Niro isn’t just known for his New York City restaurant, TriBeCa; he’s also a partner in the Nobu Hospitality hotel group.

Richard Gere — Bedford Post Inn

I’m a big fan of Richard Gere, and I know he’s involved with a charming little inn called Bedford Post Inn. It’s located in Westchester County, just about an hour outside of Manhattan, and only has eight rooms – it feels really intimate and special. I’ve always wanted to visit!
