アーセナルとユベントスの元ゴールキーパー、アレックス・マニンガーがオーストリアで電車に轢かれて悲劇的に亡くなった。彼は48歳でした。
ザルツブルク州警察は4月16日木曜日の声明でこの事件を認めた。
警察によると、救急隊が現場に到着したところ、車を運転していたザルツブルク在住の48歳の男性がすでに車から降ろされ、心肺蘇生を受けていることが判明した。
警察は除細動器を使って男性の蘇生を試みたが、救出できなかった。救急隊員と医師も蘇生を試みたが、残念ながら負傷がもとで死亡した。その男性はザルツブルグ出身でした。
マニンガーさんの車はザルツブルクから約21マイル離れたヌスドルフ・アム・ハウンスベルク近郊で衝突した。
警察によると、車はザルツブルク地方鉄道で線路を横断中に列車と衝突した。車内にいたのは運転士のみで怪我はなく、運転士も無事だった。
