人気のマーベルシリーズであるデアデビル: ボーンアゲインが、今年 3 月に Disney+ に戻ってきます。新シーズンはNetflixのオリジナル番組からストーリーを引き継ぎ、同じ俳優が多数出演し、3月24日に配信が開始される。

最悪のマーベルコミックキャラクター

腕のないタイガーマン

この黄金時代のマーベルの悪役は、産業事故で両腕を失い、すべてのマシンを破壊するようになりました。彼をバットマンのような人物と考えてください。ただし、両親が犯罪者に殺されたのではなく、コンピューターの故障であり、彼もその事件で腕を失いました。しかし、トラはこれと何の関係があるのでしょうか？そうですね、トラは獰猛な動物として知られていますが、テクノロジーを使いません。 iMac の近くでトラを見ることは決してありません。

バイビースト

なるほど、これは他のモンスターに惹かれる生き物ではなく、双頭の獣なのですね！バイビーストは実際にハルクと何度も戦っていますが、これはワイルドです。しかし正直に言うと、私が本当に考えさせられるのは…上の頭が食事をしているときに下の頭はどうなるのでしょうか?たとえば、ボウル一杯のオートミールやスープを飲んでいるとしたら、それはかなり厄介な状況に違いありません。それはただ…ひどいようですが、とても魅力的です!

ビッグホイール

ビッグホイールは典型的な悪役ではなく、ほとんど滑稽なほど不条理です。彼は別のスパイダーマンの敵であるロケットレーサーとチームを組み、ティンカラーを雇って乗り回せる巨大な車輪を作ってもらうことで復讐を果たしました。おまけに、彼の本名はジャクソン・ウィールだった――信じられますか？

The Brothers Grimm

It often feels like Marvel would come up with a cool-sounding character name first, then scramble to create a backstory to fit it. This is how we end up with villains like the Brothers Grimm – magically animated mannequins with little connection to the famous fairytale authors. While their link to the writers is weak, the name itself is a memorable and attention-grabbing gimmick for a pair of skull-faced villains who battle heroes like Spider-Woman and Iron Man.

Butterball

Butterball, a rather unfortunate nickname given by the villain Taskmaster, was one of the trainees in “The Initiative” – a government program that required all people with superpowers to register and join an official superhero team. He was invulnerable, meaning he couldn’t be harmed, but lacked any other powers like super strength or speed. This made him a weak fighter, which actually served a purpose in the storyline. It’s probably a good thing his name wasn’t the result of a marketing deal with a turkey company!

Dirtnap

Let’s be honest, after decades of X-Men movies, it’s hard to come up with a mutant power we haven’t seen before. This new character, Dirtnap, can steal life force and take on other people’s forms. He’s a bit like Rogue, but instead of being glamorous, he… well, he looks like a rat. Seriously, he absorbed a rat once and it stayed that way. It’s so absurd, he might fit into a movie like Deadpool & Wolverine – for a quick gag, maybe. But don’t expect him to be a lasting threat.

Fancy Dan

Even the creators of Marvel’s biggest heroes, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, weren’t always successful. Amidst iconic characters like Sandman and Electro, they also introduced less memorable villains like the Enforcers – a group of mostly ineffective thugs who occasionally bothered Spider-Man. The team consists of Ox, a strong brute; Montana, who simply uses a lasso; and my personal favorite, Fancy Dan, a small fighter known for his surprisingly nimble footwork. It’s alright, Stan and Steve – everyone makes mistakes!

Gilded Lily

Let’s be real. If you were an alchemist named Lily and owned a gold mask, ‘Gilded Lily’ is the obvious name to choose! It’s often easiest to just go with what feels natural.

Hairbag

Despite being called Hairbag, he’s actually had a surprisingly successful career as a villain. First appearing in the early 1990s with the Nasty Boys, a team working for Mr. Sinister, he later made an appearance on the X-Men: The Animated Series. As you might guess from the name, Hairbag is a large, hairy character with abilities similar to a werewolf. Apparently, he also has incredibly flexible hair follicles – a useful trait, especially at the salon, according to Wikipedia.

Hypno-Hustler

Antoine Desloin, a disco musician, came up with a truly bizarre scheme: he used his music to hypnotize people and then rob them, earning him the nickname “Hypno-Hustler.” It’s a strange concept, complete with an over-the-top costume, and it’s based on a trend from the 1970s. Surprisingly, Hypno-Hustler keeps popping up in discussions – Donald Glover has even expressed interest in playing him in a movie. Given that Sony made the poorly-received Madame Web, a Hypno-Hustler film doesn’t seem entirely out of the question.

J2

Back in the late 90s, Marvel created a series called “Marvel Comics 2” that explored a future where the children of existing heroes were the new generation of Marvel characters. The most popular character from this line was Spider-Girl, the teenage daughter of Spider-Man and Mary Jane. The success of Spider-Girl led to other comics in the same universe, including A-Next, which featured a new team of Avengers. One of the members was J2, the son of Juggernaut. While the idea of J2 isn’t bad, his name sounds a bit silly, and his outfit—oversized boots and a flannel shirt—doesn’t really fit a futuristic setting.

Mercurio the 4D Man

Mercurio the 4-D Man is arguably one of the most ridiculous villains in Marvel history, and his costume isn’t much better. He claims to be from another planet – one with questionable taste, apparently – and ended up battling heroes like Captain Marvel and Thor. His strange physiology caused one side of his body to be intensely hot, while the other was freezing cold – a consequence, he claimed, of existing in four dimensions.

M.O.D.A.M.

Think M.O.D.O.K. – the mental monster built for killing – is frightening? Just wait until you meet M.O.D.A.M.! She’s designed for all-out attack, and she’s a woman! This female version of M.O.D.O.K. appeared in Marvel comics back in the early 1990s, and honestly, I’m still annoyed they didn’t name her M.A.D.A.M.

NFL SuperPro

NFL SuperPro was a unique Marvel comic featuring a superhero based on professional football. The character’s costume was an over-the-top, muscular take on a football uniform, and he teamed up with heroes like Spider-Man and Captain America. His enemies included unusual villains like Quick Kick, a ninja formerly known for his field goals, and Instant Replay, who had the power to travel through time. Despite its novelty, the series is often considered one of Marvel’s least successful publications.

Poundcakes

Poundcakes was a villainous female wrestler who fought alongside the Grapplers team. She appeared in issues of the comics Dazzler and Marvel Two-in-One. Known simply as Poundcakes, she was a powerful and imposing figure, often sporting costumes decorated with studs and spikes. It’s a shame she never teamed up with a sidekick named Buttercream!

Scramble the Mixed-Up Man

Scramble, also known as the Mixed-Up Man, is the brother of Madison Jeffries, a less famous member of the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight. He had the ability to change living things, but he lost his mind and started horribly altering people’s bodies. While his power isn’t the most terrible for a villain, his name – Scramble the Mixed-Up Man – is arguably the worst supervillain name ever.

Spidercide

The infamous “Clone Saga” from 1990s Spider-Man comics isn’t quite as terrible as people say. It actually starts out as a pretty interesting story, and it brought back Ben Reilly, a clone of Spider-Man who became a significant character in the Marvel Universe. However, the initial issues were so popular that Marvel dragged the storyline on and on, which ultimately hurt its sense and consistency. It became increasingly absurd as it continued. Things got so strange that Spider-Man even fought “Spidercide,” a crazy clone who could stretch and grow like a spider. (And, oddly enough, Spidercide just had a mouth – a single mouth with no face – sticking out of his costume, just like… well, a spider.)

Taserface

Taserface, a comically ridiculous villain in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, has a surprisingly long history. He first appeared in the original Guardians of the Galaxy comics from the 1990s! Even more surprisingly, he used to wear armor designed by Tony Stark. Just thinking about having to legally change your name to Taserface is… well, a little harsh.

Teena the Fat Lady

Oh, Teena, I’m so sorry! You were stuck being part of a really silly idea from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby: The Circus of Crime. It was a circus… but with villains! The group included the Ringmaster (a circus ringleader, but evil), Bruto (a strongman, also evil), and unfortunately, you as the Fat Lady. You wouldn’t believe how often the Circus of Crime showed up in Marvel comics!

Turner D. Century

Turner D. Century isn’t his birth name. He legally changed it after becoming fascinated with pre-World War I America, even adopting the fashion of the era. Driven by a hatred of modern progress, he turned to crime, targeting those he saw as representing it. Despite having no superpowers, he repeatedly bothered Spider-Woman and Spider-Man with unusual weapons: a flame-throwing umbrella and a flying antique bicycle. During one escapade, he obtained a horn designed to harm anyone under 65 – a weapon he jokingly called an “AARP gun.” However, the device malfunctioned, and his attempt to revert the world to an older time ultimately failed.
