Over the past week, it dropped as low as fifth place on Peacock’s U.S. Top 10 list before climbing back to second, where it was surpassed by the reality show Summer House. In countries where the series is available on Paramount+, it has seen a similar decline, even falling off the Top 10 charts in many regions.

The nine-episode series M.I.A. premiered on Peacock on May 7th. It follows 21-year-old Etta Tiger Jonze, who lives in the Florida Keys and uncovers a shocking secret about her family’s marina. A major reason why M.I.A. isn’t doing as well on the charts is probably the show’s mixed reception. Season One currently has a 62% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 13 reviews. While some critics enjoyed the revenge plot and action, others found it interesting but unbelievable.
