Tori Spelling became quite fascinated with Denise Richards’ OnlyFans account to an extent that her assistant mistakenly believed it was Tori’s husband, Dean McDermott, who made the purchase.
On a recent episode of her ‘MisSpelling’ podcast, Spelling shared that she had explored OnlyFans and found stunning photos of someone. She admitted, ‘At the time, I wasn’t aware of how it functioned.’
At that point in time, Spelling and McDermott, aged 58, were still a couple, celebrating Christmas with their family. During the festivities, conversation turned to OnlyFans. Spelling advocated for the platform since she has numerous fans – including Richards among them – who are showcased on it.
To demonstrate to her family that it was an excellent secondary job, she registered on Richard’s page. As she navigated Richard’s profile, Spelling noticed a Direct Message feature and chose to reach out to Richard, who is 54 years old, expressing her support and appreciation.
She found OnlyFans quite captivating, as it hinted that by subscribing and paying a fee, one could access unique content from Denise. Eagerly, she waited for this special experience to arrive.
Joke suggested that she had made a mistake by assuming that the messages on OnlyFans would be similar to her usual conversations, and that she expected a prompt response from Richards.
It wasn’t until the evening that passed before Spelling got a reply from Richards, offering a “teaser” option to access extra content at an additional cost. Intrigued, Spelling opted to buy more content. Although Spelling understood the situation, her assistant remained oblivious to Spelling’s secretive Christmas plans.
In simpler terms, the following day, my business manager phoned me and said something along the lines of, “This might be awkward,” to which I responded, “What’s going on?” She then confided that she suspected Dean was using OnlyFans to view adult content.
Before bringing up the memory, she chuckled and then reminded herself of the moment when she had sought an explanation from her business manager as to why she thought her former spouse might have been flirting with women online.
As a lifestyle expert, I found myself echoing an apologetic tone, “I’m truly sorry, but I’m at a loss for words.” The person then shared the amount, “$451.28,” and my response was simply, “Understood.
She verified that she was indeed informed about the transaction and clarified that it was charged to her personal account, not her former husband’s. Subsequently, she acknowledged delving into a “rabbit hole” by making payments and offering additional funds to gain access to more content originating from Richards.
“I don’t know what happened,” Spelling said. “I spent all the money.”
In May 2006, Spelling and McDermott exchanged wedding vows and have five children together: Liam (age 17), Stella (age 16), Hattie (age 13), and Finn (age 12). McDermott declared in June 2023 that they were ending their 17-year marriage. Spelling then filed for divorce in March 2024, officially signaling the end of their union.
