Managing a Broadway production eight days a week is no walk in the park, yet, when asked about it, Darren Criss considers it a breeze compared to caring for two toddlers.
Criss, at 38 years old, expressed in his “Actors on Actors” interview (published on the 26th of April) that having two kids under three years old is an incredibly special setup for him. While he’s not joking around, he mentioned that having a structured routine and spending the whole day with his children brings great joy to his life.
In April 2022, Darren and his spouse Mia Criss gave birth to a daughter named Bluesy Belle, followed by their son Brother László in June 2024. Just under a year later, in the summer of 2025, Darren started appearing on Broadway in the original musical “Maybe Happy Ending.” This production, which was officially premiered in November 2024 and featured Darren alongside Helen J. Shen, was directed by Michael Arden.
