On Tuesday, February 18th, the founder of Rare Beauty, who is 32 years old, shared two consecutive videos on her Instagram Story. In these videos, she demonstrated a quick and easy way to transform from a feminine look to a glamorous one.

In the first video, Gomez sported retro barrettes, securing the front sections of her flipped-up bob hairstyle. She wore a trendy white tank top with black bow accents. To complete the look, she added two accessories from the early 2000s: a velvet ribbon choker and a choker adorned with gold beads.

She put on winged eyeliner, defined eyebrows, a touch of rosy blush and soft peachy-pink lipstick with a subtle sheen, along with a recently polished vibrant blue nail polish (thanks to Tom Bachik, who chose the shade “In the Navy” by Après Nails), which gave her a hint of unexpected sophistication amidst her full-blown flirtatious style.

In the meantime, it appeared that she silently sang along to a song that seemed like a joint effort by Gomez (her fiance), Benny Blanco, and their friend Gracie Abrams.

In a video reminiscent of a selfie, Gomez is captured lip-synching to an unheard tune. “Call me when you’ve parted ways / I long to be the one you think of as your alarm clock rings / I yearn for those moments we’d spend talking about eternity while you’re wiping off my makeup,” she croons, her voice harmonizing beautifully with a catchy pop beat. Abrams, aged 25, isn’t featured on the song. However, the singer of “That’s So True” commented, “Heyyyyyyyy, that’s my friendddd,” with Blanco, 36, replying back, “Heyyyyyy, that’s my wife.” This indicates that Abrams and Blanco are friends.

Moving on to Gomez’s stunning look, barely an hour had passed when she reshared a video from her long-term makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, on her Instagram Story. In this quick span of time, she appeared as a breathtaking beauty. The song playing in the background was their upcoming album’s single titled “I Said I Love You First”, scheduled for release on March 21st.

In the scene, Gomez stood before a mirror while trying out Rare Beauty’s Kind Words matte lipstick in the shade “Devoted.” This lipstick, the brand claims, is a true red that perfectly complemented her faux fur chubby jacket. Over a slip dress, she wore this jacket casually.
